Trivia no. 2
Today my students were asked to pronounce several sentences. One student produced this nice variant of a sentence (but don't tell this to any animal rights organisation):
"Try not to breathe through your mouse."
But not: "Try not to breeze through your mouse". And certainly not: /traɪ nɔt tu bri:zsru: yɔ maus/ This seems a very selective substitution of /s/ for /θ/ and /ð/. I wonder what is happening here? Maybe just one random substitution, or maybe something more systematic.

He corrected himself immediately after the mouse had left his mouth.
