  1. A member of the British royal family who prefers to be anonymous has asked me to enquire tactfully why Krait has a half (or is it 'pseudo') space between the /p/ and the final /i/ of the word 'happy' of his kind greeting. He enquires whether it might be a sort of seasonal variant or is it a chance excursion into Wellsian syyllabificatory practice. He wonders whether the Wells posting of today may have some relevance.

  2. @Limey:
The Royal Press Office informs her Majesty's subject that the larger space between /p/ and /i/ in happy was caused by that bleeding programme which can't handle the font prop'ly.
